When talking about the king of fruits, Mango; its richness, fragrant aroma, and creamy texture makes it different from any other fruit in the world.


In Pakistan, there is diversification when it comes to the types of mangos. From Sindhri to Chaunsa to Anwar Ratol; Pakistan has it all.


It’s rich in fiber and has an unrivaled taste, helping it to stand out from other fruits.


Each type has its own story; its own taste and history.


Sindhri


Sindhri Mangoes origin back to its roots in Mirpur where it was discovered for the first time in the 20th century. The size differs; it tends to be bigger than all other types either chaunsa or Anwar Ratol.


It has a dark orange as its color and what makes it stand out is its rich, creamy texture and long-lasting shelf life.

Chaunsa


Chaunsa stands out from all other types due to its unique taste and rich flavor. They originated back from 5,000 years old in the Hindu-Berma region from the districts of Rahim Yar Khan and Multan in the areas of now called Punjab.


They have a pale yellowish color and a sweet taste to it.

Anwar Ratol


Anwar Ratol mangoes are renowned for their captivating and thrilling origin tale. Their plantation dates back to only a century, when they were first discovered in Utar Pardesh, India.


A mango grafter from UP migrated to Pakistan and planted a tree here and named it “Anwar”, after his father’s name. That is how it started being called “Anwar Ratol”. It is perfect in terms of its taste, size, weight, aroma, and shape.


It has a golden yellow color and is known to be as sweet as sin; nowadays popular all around the world.
