Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb Friday said the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf's (PTI) government has reached an agreement with the International Monetary Funds (IMF) on weak grounds, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, Marriyum said Pakistan's Finance Secretary Mohammad Younus Dagha was sacked after he raised objections on a deal with IMF.
Marriyum said the masses are bearing the burden of inflation because of the agreements made by the previous government.
Marriyum flayed those who were removed from the ministry by Imran Khan after disqualification is making noise today.
Marriyum said Imran Khan brought record inflation and unemployment to the country, adding that the coalition government will show the end of the mafia in the country.
Marriyum lashed out at former premier Imran Khan and said he used to say that he does not come to power to sell cheap potatoes, onions and tomatoes.
Separately, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Kashmir Affairs Qamar Zaman Kaira said PTI Chairman Imran Khan made petrol cheaper for cheap fame.
Kaira said the government had no choice but to raise prices. He said that the government should go towards a targeted subsidy on petrol for the middle class.
