Five alleged dacoits killed in Lodhran encounter

Five alleged dacoits were killed by the firing of their companions during an encounter with the police in Lodhran on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the police, six dacoits were about to commit a robbery and when they were confronted by the police they opened fire on them.

The dead were the residents of Jalalpur and were identified as Mohsin Baloch, Rashid Balochi, Saddam, Abdul Hameed and Tanveer.

Police have registered a case while post-mortem of the dead dacoits was under way.
