Notorious dacoit Adeel Masih killed in Lahore police encounter

A notorious dacoit, namely Adeel Masih, who was in police custody, was killed when his three colleagues suddenly opened fire on the police party in the Lower Mall area of Lahore, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
Police sources said that the accused was being taken to recover arms and other items when his three colleagues started firing on the police team.
Due to severe firing, arrested dacoit Adeel Masih was critically injured. The police team shifted the injured dacoit to the hospital, but he died before reaching the hospital.
Police sources further revealed that arrested dacoit was wanted by police in 65 cases of dacoity, snatching, and encounter with police. These cases were registered against him in Lahore, Faisalabad, Okara, and Kasur areas.
Later, the police team shifted the dead body of Dacoit Adeel Masih to the mortuary for an autopsy. Police cordoned off the entire area and started searches to arrest the culprits.
