A police constable gunned down two persons including his former colleague in Karachi’s PIB Ghousia Colony, reported 24News HD TV channel on Sunday.
Police constable Amjad opened fire on two persons when they were sitting at a local restaurant. The victims have been identified as Head Constables Abdul Waheed Khattak and Naeem Shah. Constable Amjad opened fire on Head Constable Waheed Khattak and his brother-in-law Naeem Shah. The victim's brother Hanif said that Waheed Khattak and his brother-in-law were sitting at a hotel near the house when Amjad opened fire on them and fled from the scene.
A friend of the victim Waheed Khattak said that he used to stay at the hotel before going on duty every day.
According to the police, the incident was initially known to be a personal feud. Further investigations are underway. The police are carrying out raids to arrest the accused.
