Vaneeza Ahmad lashes out at netizens for misquoting her statement

October 3, 2022 12:40 PM

Former Lollywood supermodel Vaneeza Ahmad, at the height of her career, was the personification of grace.

However, she suddenly disappeared from the screen and turned her attention to her private life. After a hiatus, she grabbed the attention of some media outlet who are always hungry to get some snippet from the industry. In a recent interview, some netizens noticed that she took a jibe at Ayeza khan when she said that: “It is questionable how people only post pictures of themselves on social media but still ends up having a huge fan following. She further added that she is not a fan of people posting pretentious things on social media.”

However, the statement doesn’t go well among the social media brigade who started assuming that she has taken a subtle dig at Ayeza khan because she is the most followed actress on Instagram.

After some time, Vaneeza took Instagram and expressed her displeasure in some social media sites for misconstruing her statement and wrote that:

“It disappoints me that you #fhmpakistan would misquote me and prove what I explained in the interview about how we misuse social media and how we sell stupid ideology to get the likes. I did not even Mean or refer to Ayeza. I do know who Ayeza is and do appreciate her craft. I still don’t know the name of the model/actress that I referred to as her feed was of a narcissist who had nothing to contribute other than how one looks which may I add has nothing to do with talent (should thank God for the genes) but I guess for a regressed unevolved audience eyecandy is definitely for important. Let’s just waste our precious time on mindless feed. aqal to hae nahi to chalo shakal say hee likes ki daur may kissi tara aagay barh jai. Sad state of affair unfortunately. Btw the platform was TikTok and not Facebook.”
