Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said national debts are increasing with each passing day and the rulers are leading the country to darkness, the only way to get rid of this situation is to conduct a free and transparent election, reported 24 News HFD TV Channel.

Speaking at the Bahawalpur public rally Saturday, Imran Khan said that the group of thieves is taking the country into the swamp. If there is a transparent election, political stability will come to the country. If there is political stability, then the country's economy will be fine.

PTI Chief said that Pakistan is stuck in the mire of debt, our biggest asset is overseas Pakistanis, we collected 5.5 billion in three and a half hours in the telethon, and we will get overseas Pakistanis to invest in the country if overseas Pakistanis invest in the country. Then there will be no need to extend our hands to the IMF.

Imran Khan said that he knows Pakistanis abroad the most. Pakistanis abroad will bring money to the country when they have confidence in the justice system, he added.

Imran Khan said that during his government the prices of petroleum products were kept at subsidized rates when oil prices in the international market were $106 per barrel. But now oil prices have been drastically reduced to $96 per barrel, the government instead of reducing the price of petrol products increased the price to Rs 236 per litre.

Former prime minister Imran Khan said until the powerful bandits are brought under the law, forget about development. “We all have to come together to bring a revolution of justice in the country, we want the supremacy of law in the country, he added.

He said that our government saved people from inflation, but the people are witnessing historical inflation introduced by the imported government in just four months. During our time electricity was Rs 18 per unit while after adding tax it has become Rs 50 per unit today, “he added.

While giving a warning to the government, the PTI chairman said that all the cherry blossom ministers and those who are behind your government should open their ears and listen. On May 25, I did not stage a sit-in just to save the country from chaos. Now, I am going to fight back as much as you try to intimidate me, suppress me, he maintained.

Khan said that nation is standing with me from Karachi to Gilgit-Baltistan. I am not doing any act for the sake of my country which will cause any harm to the country, if my back is against the wall then remember I can become a cornered tiger, listen, I will give the masses a call, you will not find a place to hide in Islamabad. I am going to get closer to the call, there is still time to hold fair and transparent elections, save yourself and my country, he added.

He said that the people of Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur are suffering due to the flood. “I will collect money from the whole country for the flood victims, I will do another telethon next Sunday for overseas Pakistanis, he hinted.  The flood victims are in trouble at the moment, various diseases are spreading in the flood-affected areas, he said.
