Ex-federal minister for finance, Shaukat Tarin thrashed his successor, Miftah Ismail on his performance in his tweets. Also told him to pack up and go home, Saturday.

The Ex minister for finance and revenue lost his calm and took to twitter for bashing his incumbent successor. Shaukat Tarin said to Miftah Ismail that he was kind to him in his presser but he stooped even lower by calling names.

Furthermore, Tarin tried to show Miftah a mirror in which he could see the differences between the fiscal situations and deficit Pakistan’s treasury saw in the time period of both governments saying that PML(N)’s own economic survey showed PTI’s performance well documented.

On the other hand, Miftah’s handling of the economy was disastrous causing the highest ever inflation, lowest ever value of the Pakistani rupee and a huge Rs9.7 trillion debt in just four months. He further said that Miftah’s performance should be a case study in ineptitude.

Tarin compared the statistics in times of both governments and stated that the fiscal deficit was Rs2.5 trillion in PTI’s nine months and Rs2.6 trillion in only three months of their reign. He said that the subsidies were Rs575 billion in PTI’s nine months while it went to an additional Rs1575 billion in only their three months.

He bitterly said that people of Pakistan will not be impressed by Miftah’s talks and frustration could be seen on his face. He should just pack up and go home.
