Bangladesh have won the toss and chosen to bat first against Afghanistan in the fourth match of the Asia Cup, 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The match between the two teams is being played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Foolproof security arrangements have been ensured by Lahore police at the stadium.
The DIG (operations) visited the stadium and reviewed the security arrangements.
He said that 2,000 personnel would perform security duty for the Afghanistan-Bangladesh match.
Two spots including Government College for Boys and Liberty Parking have been finalised for the parking of vehicles.
It is to be noted here that Afghanistan are going to play their opening fixture while Bangladesh have already lost their first match of the Asia Cup to Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka had won the match by five wickets with 66 balls remaining. Therefore, Bangladesh find themselves in a must-win territory.
Both teams are likely to produce a spicy contest today. The pressure, however, will squarely be on Bangladesh who looked rusty in their opening game.
