Punjab CM seeks recommendations on special package for farmers

Punjab’s caretaker Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi has ordered to prepare a special package for farmers, seeking comprehensive recommendations from the concerned departments, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
In this regard, a team consisting of Chairman Planning and Development Board, Secretaries Agriculture, Livestock, Irrigation, Treasury and Punjab Bank officials will prepare recommendations for the package.
A sustainable plan is also called for establishing a model agricultural market in each division.
Pesticides, agricultural implements, fertilizers and seeds will be available in the model agricultural market.
