Govt forms 5-member medical board for Parvez Elahi's treatment in PIMS

A 5-member medical board was formed for the medical examination of Parvaiz Elahi, who is undergoing treatment at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital in Islamabad.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Dr Mumtaz Niazi, Dr Tashfeen, Dr Israr, Dr Akhtar Bandisha, and Dr Ali Arif are included in the medical board and are experts in heart, medicine, stomach, chest and general surgery.
The sources in PIMS hospital said that an echocardiogram (ECG) and heart tests will be done on Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and the medical board will treat him based on his test reports. Chaudhry Parvez Elahi is being given the already-issued medicines.
According to the sources, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi was complaining of difficulty in breathing and pain in his chest due to the fractured ribs. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has fractured three ribs due to a fall in Adiala Jail.
Parvez Elahi has been suffering from diabetes and heart disease for a long time. He was transferred from Adiala Jail to a private room in PIMS Hospital yesterday.
