LHC CJ issues arrest warrant for lawyer Zahid Goraya

In the case of inappropriate behaviour in the courtroom of Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed, Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) Malik Shehzad Ahmed Khan issued an arrest warrant for lawyer Zahid Mehmood Goraya on Wednesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, lawyer Zahid Mehmood Goraya did not appear before the court of the chief justice on which he showed his displeasure over the attitude of the accused and issued the arrest warrant.
Chief Justice Malik Shehzad Ahmed Khan said that the lawyer is ruining his case and he does not bother about his honour that his arrest warrant is issued and the police raid his house.
Advocate Shiraz Faiz Bhatti on behalf of accused Zahid Mahmood Goraya appeared in the court of the chief justice and told him that the lawyer did not come to the court for fear of arrest as the police force was standing outside.
The Chief Justice ordered the police high-ups to arrest the lawyer Zahid Goraya and produce him tomorrow, Thursday, April 04, 2024.
Worthy to mention that advocate Zahid Mahmood Goraya had behaved improperly in the court of Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed, on which Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed sent a reference to the Chief Justice for action against him.
