A 5.3 magnitude earthquake jolted capital Islamabad and various cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province including Swabi, Upper Dir, and Mingora, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department said the earthquake was 159km deep and its epicenter was in the Hindukush region in Afghanistan. No loss of life or property has been reported yet.
