OIC calls emergency meeting of foreign ministers on August 7 in Jeddah

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has called an emergency meeting of foreign ministers on August 7 in Jeddah, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
An official statement of OIC says it has accepted the request from Palestine and Iran for an urgent meeting of the Executive Committee of OIC at the level of foreign ministers to discuss the latest situation in the Gaza and Middle East peace in the aftermath of the assassination of Hamas’s top political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
According to the agenda of the meeting, the emergency meeting of the Executive Committee of OIC will discuss the continued Israeli war crimes in Gaza and its aggression against the sovereignty of Iran.
The executive committee meeting would be opened by the chair and Secretary General of OIC. Later the sessions would be closed door which would be addressed by members including Palestine, Iran and other members including Pakistan. The agenda says it would adopt the joint communique at the end of the meeting.
