Woman set to fire by in-laws dies in Kharian

A woman named Alina, who was allegedly set to fire by her mother-in-law three days ago in Kharian, has succumbed to her injuries, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday. 

According to details, a woman allegedly threw petrol on her daughter-in-law and set her on fire. The victim was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. But doctors said Alina’s body was 90 percent burnt. 

After struggling for her life for three days she breathed her last today. 

Police have handed over the body to the heirs after completing the autopsy and other legal formalities. 

Police have failed to arrest any accused nominated in the FIR.
