Pak civil society stands firmly behind Palestinians, demands global justice

Representatives of the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Lahore and other civil society have condemned the inhumane and evil acts committed by the Zionist state against innocent Palestinians, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a joint press conference here on Sunday, they said the international community has been shaken by the mass killings of innocent Palestinians by the Israeli forces.
“The tragedy has claimed the lives of over fifteen thousand individuals, including more than 6,100 children and women,” they hinted.
The office bearers of various sectors of Pakistani society, ranging from the PMA to civil society, trade unions, media, teachers, lawyers, student organizations, traders, and literary organizations have collectively expressed their unanimous condemnation of what they perceive as inhumane and evil acts committed by Israeli forces.
Prof. Ashraf Nizami, President PMA Lahore, Muhammad Tahsin, South Asian Partnership, Babar Butt, All Pakistan Small Traders Association, Ishtiaq Chaudhry Advocate HRCP, Nazim Hussain Shah, President Teachers Union, Dr. Syed Muhammad Humayun, President PIMA, Dr. Muhammad Tahir, PIMA Lahore, Prof. Khalid Mehmood Khan, Vice President PMA, Shahbaz Anwar Khan, Anjuman Progressive Writers, Shaukat Chaudhry, Pakistan Mazdoor Mahaz, Mehboob Sarki, Anjuman Tajran Ferozepur Road Board and Muhammad Azam Butt, Chairman All Pakistan Teachers Association jointly address the media.
These groups assert their steadfast support for the rights of Palestinians, denouncing the genocide.
The office bearers observed that a grand demonstration is scheduled to take place at Liberty Square in Gulberg on Tuesday, December 5, at 2:00 PM to express a powerful display of solidarity with the people of Gaza.
They invited social and political parties, along with the general public to express their support for the innocent Palestinians.
The organizers express hope that the government will play a positive role in addressing the ongoing crisis.
The management committee overseeing the demonstration has decided that participants will exclusively wave the Palestinian flag, adhering to a specified code of conduct to ensure a peaceful and impactful protest.
The event aims to send a resounding message against the atrocities and aggression faced by the people of Palestine, urging the global community to take a stand for justice.
