Giraffe dies mysteriously in Lahore Zoo

February 4, 2022 05:11 PM

Another male giraffe on Friday died mysteriously at Lahore Zoo, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The 10-year-old giraffe was suffering from a blood disease that led to his death.

The male giraffe, along with two of its species, was brought to Lahore Zoo in 2017 after undergoing various tests.

According to the administration, the giraffe was provided with medical aid as well as multivitamins, boosters and other facilities.

Lahore Zoo seems to be an unfortunate place for animals like giraffes. History bears witness that the Lahore Zoo has never been a safe place for giraffes, as in the past many giraffes have died due to varied reasons.

Since 1990s, the zoo administration has been trying hard to procure these animals, but due to certain reasons it has failed completely.
