The government of Saudi Arabia has changed the tradition of changing the Ghilaf-e-Kaaba on the eve of Hajj and announced that it will be changed on the first of the month of Muharram-ul-Haram.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the process of changing the Ghilaf-e-Kaaba (that is called in the Arabic language Kiswah) has been done on the occasion of Hajj for the last several decades.
However, this tradition is being changed this year and it will now be changed on the 1st of Muharram. A royal decree has also been issued by King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdul Aziz.
