PHC issues stay order on PCB Chairman polls

Peshawar High Court Monday put a stay order on the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman elections and served a notice to the parties who filed the petition against it to seek their response, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Justice Ijaz Anwar and Justice Syed Arshad Ali conducted the hearing regarding the petition filed against the Chairman PCB elections.
The applicant’s advocate said that petitioner is a member of PCB’s Board of Governors. The election is being held today despite the absence of four members out of 16. The Lahore and Balochistan High Courts have already issued stay orders on the elections. How can the elections be held after that, said advocate Fazlul Haq.
