10 Murders on Eid Day Case: Court sentences 9 accused to death

A session judge on Saturday sentenced nine accused to death and four to life imprisonment in the case of 10 murders in Jalalpur Pirwala on the Eid-ul-Fitr Day in June 2019.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Additional Sessions Judge Jalalpur Pirwala Asif Ali Rana, in his verdict also acquitted seven accused giving the advantage of doubts in the case.
The incident took place in Multan in June 2019 in which 10 people including Mumtaz alias Kala Jafar were killed and 18 injured.
Malik Mumtaz alias Kala Jafar, 10-year-old Ismatullah, Aqib Javed, Saleem Akhtar, Mohammad Shafqat, Muhammad Shaukat, Rahat Abbas, Mohammad Iqbal, Mohammad Younis, and Ghulam Abbas were included in the killed persons.
Among the 18 injured were Samiullah, Sajid, Amjad Pervez, Muhammad Hasnain, Munawar, Majid, and three-year-old Muhammad Aftab.
There were a total of 19 accused involved in the killing incident including Khurram Jaffer, Ali Dehar, Saleem Jaffer, Azhar Jaffer, Ghulam Jaffer, Jawad Jaffer, Hanif Jafar, Shahid alias Blue, Khawar Jafar, Nazar Jafar, Naseem Jafar, Ghulam Nazak Jafar, Ghulam Yaseen Jafar, Sabir Dehar, Saddam Dehar, Riaz Dehar, Mahiwal Dehar, Naeem Jaffer and Haseeb Asad Jaffer.
