Two minor children and two women were killed in two separate incidents in Dera Ghazi Khan and Malakand, respectively on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, a tractor-trolley hit a motorcycle near Shoria Bridge on Samina Road in Dera Ghazi Khan. As a result, two minor kids riding the two-wheeler were killed on the spot while three other persons got injured in the incident.

The deceased children were identified as 5-year-old Yasra and 8-year-old Azam. 

The injured included Muhammad Arsalan, Bushra Bibi and Muhammad Javed. 

The rescue officials shifted the dead bodies and injured to the DGK Teaching Hospital. 

In another incident, two women were drowned and three others sustained injuries when their vehicle fell into a canal in Dargai, Malakand.

The rescue officials reached the place of incident and fished the car riders out of canal. Two women were pronounced dead while three others got injuries. 

They were shifted to a hospital.

Youth dies, father injured in Lahore accident

In an unfortunate road accident, an 18-year-old boy was crushed to death while his father sustained serious injuries at Multan Road Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The accident occurred at the Multan Road where both father and son were travelling on motorbike from Lahore’s Monalwal area.

A fast speeding trailer crushed both father and son in which the 18-year-old Irfan died on the spot while his elderly father Javed got seriously injured. 

The injured person was shifted to the Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment. 

Traffic warden and police reached the accident site where they cleared the traffic jam as the body of the dead youth was lying on the road and his injured father was also lying on the road after the accident. 

The whereabouts of the trailer driver has not been traced yet. 

The police will launch further investigation into the matter from all angles including using the CCTV footage, if any.
