Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and Sindh Governor Imran Ismail Friday reached Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium where they expressed their pleasure over revival of international cricket in Pakistan and invited the opposition leaders to come and watch Pak-Australia match, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
While condemning the opposition’s attitude, they said ‘every time opposition goes against the interests of people.
Fawad said that he would give a free cabin in the stadium to the opposition where they could sit, enjoy match and make their strategy.
Fawad and Ismail also stressed the need for promoting sports between Pakistan and India, adding that people-to-people connections between two countries must be restored.
“Cricket, music, and film should be restored between the two countries,” they added.
They also said: “God willing! Prime Minister Imran Khan will also come to watch the match. The prime minister would also win the match against the opposition.”
