Moonis vows to develop Gujrat Small Industrial Estate

Federal Minister for Water Resources Moonis Elahi has said that Gujrat Small Industrial Estate will be developed as per international standards.

“The Gujrat Small Industrial Estate will prove a game-changer for Gujrat. We have proved we love the people of Gujrat by bringing mega projects to the district,” he said at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gujrat.

Moonis Elahi said the project will provide massive employment opportunities to the unemployed youth.  He said that Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi has asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to include Gurjat in the industrial package.

He continued: “Basic facilities including electricity, gas, water will be provided in the industrial estate and a police station will be established.

“We have asked the government to give the status of division to Gujrat. The industrial estate Gujrat will emerge as a role model.  Measures are being adopted to make the Gujrat Small Industrial Estate apolitical”

Moonis Elahi said that in the Gujrat Small Industrial Estate separate blocks will be provided for the industries of the fan, pottery industry, and furniture.

He said that alongside the Small Industrial Estate, Tevta Institute will also be established in which training will be imparted to plumbers, electricians, and other such workers.

President Gujrat Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mohammad Imtiaz Gobndal, Ch Waheeduddin, Ansar Ghumman, Ashfaq Razi, Sultan Malhi, and others also spoke

They heaped praise on Ch Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi for making special efforts for the betterment of residents of Gujrat
