Woman slaughters daughter, aged 4, over domestic row in Jhelum

Police have arrested a woman who allegedly murdered her four-year-old daughter over domestic row in tehsil Pind Dadan Khan in Jhelum, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The case was registered on the complaint of the grandmother of the murdered girl.

According to the FIR, accused Sughra Bibi slit open the throat of her four-year-old daughter with the help of a knife over a domestic row. 

Sughra got married 8 years ago and her husband lived abroad.

Police said that they recovered the murder weapon from the possession of the accused mother.

Further investigations are underway.
