A taxi counter supervisor at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport has created an example of honesty by returning a purse he found in the airport’s cab yard to its owner, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) officials, Rizwan, who found the purse containing Saudi Riyals and banking cards worth over Rs0.6 million, returned it to Arshad, who had arrived from Saudi Arabia.

Vigilance DVOs collected information about the passenger through the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) such as his ticket and cellphone numbers.

Later the passenger came to the airport after the DVOs contacted him on his cellphone number.

There after proper verification, the purse was handed over to him.

Arshad said that the amount he had kept in the bag was meant for the treatment of his mother.
