Rain in several cities turns weather pleasant

Weather turned pleasant after several areas of the country received a fresh spell of rain on the second day of Eid, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Twin cities receive shower

Weather turned chilly in Islamabad and Rawalpindi after the twin cities received a heavy rain coupled with strong winds on Wednesday.

Rainfall in Punjab

Many areas of Punjab received light and heavy rainfall on Wednesday.

Jhelum city and surrounding areas received a fresh spell of rain with strong winds. The weather turned very pleasant after the rain; however, the rainwater accumulated on roads disturbed the traffic flow. Moreover, the rainfall also caused several feeders to trip which resulted in power suspension in different areas.

Also, Heavy rain with thunderstorm hit many parts of Kartarpur and Narowal. The weather turned pleasant on the second Eid day, and cool breezes began to blow.

Furthermore, other cities of Punjab including Mandi Bahauddin, Vehari, Mailsi, Toba Tek Singh, Pakpattan and Arifwala also received rain.

Rain in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Many areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province including Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan received shower on Wednesday.

Rain in Balochistan

Weather turned chilly after rainfall hit many areas of Balochistan on Wednesday.

Dera Murad Jamali, Sohbatpur and Kohlu received rain on the second day of Eid.
