Bushra Ansari sheds light on societal hypocrisy through Milind-Ankita's age gap video

Esteemed Pakistani actress, Bushra Ansari has shared the video showcasing the age disparity between the renowned Indian celebrity couple, Milind Soman and wife Ankita Konwar.

In doing so, she has eloquently raised inquiries regarding the societal inconsistencies and hypocrisies that prevail.

Bushra is older than her second husband, Iqbal Hussain, and this became an issue as Bushra was called out for marrying Iqbal Hussain at the age of 66, although the age gap between the couple is not known yet. But the actress did not back out of fighting such backward thinking in society.

Now she has reshared a video featuring the Indian actor, Milind Soman with his wife, Ankita Konwar. The video highlighted the 26-year age difference between the two and has garnered 5.5 million views.

Sharing the video on her Instagram feed, the lady with a tone of both curiosity and amusement, Ansari queried, "It's okay for a man?" Her rhetorical question shed light on the entrenched gender biases that often dictate societal expectations in matters of love and marriage.

Soon after Bushra Bashir's post, people on the internet started penning down their thoughts in the comment section of the same. While some praised the actress for calling out the double standard, others asked her to live her married life happily without thinking of anyone’s judgement.

The actress shared that she never intended to marry again, and kept a low profile after her divorce from her first husband. However, the arrival of Iqbal Hussain in her life changed everything. She also shared that her family was happy to meet him.
