PCB Chairman Naqvi directs for hiring consultants for upgradation of stadiums

Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi chaired an important meeting in Lahore on Saturday and reviewed the upgradation plan of the stadiums, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In the meeting, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi instructed to get services of international consultants for the upgradation of Qaddafi Stadium Lahore, National Stadium Karachi and Rawalpindi Stadium soon.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the upgradation work of the three stadiums has already been delayed and now proceed without delay.
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi also instructed to form a 3-member committee.
The committee infrastructure will consist of Directors of Domestic Cricket and International Cricket which will ensure the speedy hiring process of the international consultants under the rules and regulations.
The committee will ensure the provision of world-class facilities in the stadiums in consultation with international consultants.
Under the upgradation plan, structural changes will be made in the boxes and facilities will be improved.
Seats will be installed in the enclosures of the stadiums and each seat will have a number for the convenience of cricket fans.
The number of shelters will be increased in the enclosures on both sides of the main gate of Gaddafi Stadium.
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi instructed to change the screens for scoreboard and live stream in stadiums.
Estimate should be made for replacement of stadium floodlights, Mohsin Naqvi instructed.
Chief Operating Officer PCB Salman Naseer, Chief Financial Officer, Director Domestic Cricket, Director Infrastructure and Director International Cricket attended the meeting.
