Though the attack on Imran Khan is being combined with the attack on Benazir Bhutto, but there are some dissimilarities between both tragic incidents.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, a comparison of the reactions of Imran Khan and Asif Zardari on such an occasion would show a surprising difference between the mental approach to handling the high-tense situation.
After the martyrdom of Benazir Bhutto in a terror attack at Liaqat Bagh in Rawalpindi, the country was surrounded by unrest and chaos.
And, all eyes were seeing toward the leadership of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) as the anti-national elements were waiting to further blow the angry sentiments.
But within 24 hours, Asif Ali Zardari of PPP like any genuine national leadership raised the slogan of "Pakistan Khappay" and saved the country and people from bloodshed instead of political gain from the situation.
There is a similar situation with the firing incident of the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) at the GT Road in Long March.
Fortunately, the precious lives of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and other leaders were spared but in response, the situation of arson is similar to the Liaquat Bagh tragedy, 24 hours have passed and Imran Khan is still silent about calming down the unrest in the country.
On the other hand, the senior officer of an agency has been alleged of the firing incident of Imran Khan.
The current situation has raised an important question, is targeting a top officer of the agency not a continuation of the ongoing policy?
And, there is another important question, is blaming an officer of the institute a continuation of the strategy of making everyone a traitor?
