Members Punjab Assembly from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Friday staged a walkout due to not being given time by the speaker during the Punjab Assembly session.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, PML-N members Pir Ashraf, Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, and Tariq Masih Gill asked for time to discuss the point of objection during an ongoing debate on the murderous attempt on PTI Chairman Imran Khan. But the speaker refused to allow them to take part in the debate. As a result of which, they staged a walkout from the assembly session to register their protest.

The treachery bench members criticized vehemently the assassination attack on the PTI Chairman Imran Khan and termed it a deep conspiracy against the country and its people.

Earlier, the Punjab Assembly session started with a delay of 3 hours and 14 minutes. Speaker Sardar Sibatin Khan presided over the session. There were only 20 members in the House.

The majority of the treachery bench members also remained disinterested in the House.

Speaker of Punjab Assembly Sibtain Khan also left the session.  Later, the Punjab Assembly session continued under the chairmanship of the Panel of Chair Mian Shafi. The session has been adjourned till 3 pm on Monday, November 21.
