Punjab cracks down on illegal NGOs

The Punjab government has launched a crackdown on illegal non-governmental organizations (NGOs), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The authorities have filed cases against 10 NGOs working without registration. The action was taken against four NGOs of Lahore, five of Bahawalnagar and one of Sahiwal.

The four NGOs from Lahore are: Abad Welfare Foundation, Jibran Khalid Memorial Welfare Foundation, Inqilab Welfare Foundation and Raza-e-Elahi Welfare Foundation.
