The heavy and goods-laden vehicles have been banned from travelling on Margalla Road, Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to the Islamabad police spokesperson, legal action will be taken against these vehicles found travelling on Margalla Road without a route permit and during prohibited hours.

“This measure has been taken to prevent accidents on Margalla Road and protect the public,” he said.
