PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has termed the FIA reports into the recent flour and sugar crises a chargesheet against Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.

In his reaction to the FIA reports on Sunday, Shehbaz Sharif, in a statement, demanded severe action over the outcome of the inquiry reports containing serious revelations.

On Saturday, two reports on the recent sugar and wheat crises in the country were made public, exposing ruling PTI's top leader Jahangir Tareen and allied parties’ leaders Federal Minister for Food Security Khusro Bakhtiar, PML-Q’s Moonis Elahi and their relatives as being responsible for the crises.

However, Moonis Elahi said that he had no link with the Rahim Yar Khan Sugar Mills cited in the FIA report.

In his statement, Shehbaz Sharif said “Let’s see what action the prime minister who is the ECC chairman himself will against CM Buzdar for such a large-scale corruption and nepotism?”
