There's no doubt that Mehar Posh has taken Pakistani social media by storm.

The drama serial starring lead actress Ayeza Khan and Danish Taimoor has created highest viewership record on its first episode.

Ayeza Khan and Danish Taimoor shared the news on their respective Instagram handles.

Taking to Instagram, Ayeza Khan said: “Can’t thank Allah enough for the blessings, what an amazing start. Highest rating of the first episode ever.”

Ayeza Khan is essaying the role of Mehru while Danish as Shahjahan.

Written by Misbah Nosheen who has previously written the megahits Ramz-e-Ishq the drama follows the story of Mehru and Shahjahan, two next-door neighbors who cross each other’s paths and face some unfortunate circumstances.
