Hamza Shehbaz, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and son of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, said on Friday that he was dismayed at the way election for the seat of Punjab chief minister (CM) was held, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media in London, Hamza Shehbaz said for the first time in his life he had heard words like ‘interim chief minister’ and ‘judicial chief minister’.
He said he planned to fight his case in the courts. “I hope that I will not let down the people of Punjab,” Hamza said.
He also dispelled the impression that there was any danger to the coalition government at Center. “Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan should first clarify his position on the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) verdict in prohibited funding case.
Hamza was welcomed by his brother Suleman Shehbaz on arrival at London’s Heathrow Airport.
