PML-N’s Rana Mashhood dedicates Commonwealth Year Youth Champion Award to PM Shehbaz  

PML-N leader and Prime Minister Youth Programme Chairman Rana Mashhood said on Sunday that Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland had conferred upon him the “Commonwealth Year Youth Champion’ award in recognition of the government of Pakistan’s unshakable resolve to empower the youth, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing the Commonwealth Year Youth Champion ceremony, he said it was the government’s slogan right from the word go that it would provide youth with a platform, which they would use for reaching the skies. “Pakistan is again back on the road to progress; be it in the field of sports, education, technical education, arts and agriculture,” he said, adding, “The progress of the country is the progress of the entire nation. Insha Allah, people from the entire world will head to Pakistan and the government will provide them with every facility.”     

Mashhood said that today he dedicated the award to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif who, acting upon the teachings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, always took historic steps to ensure a bright future for the country’s youth.

No doubt, he went on to say, the youth guaranteed the country’s bright future and prosperity. And today it was in the safe hands of the prime minister.
