NAB launches probe into corruption in Sindh police

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has launched a probe after disclosure of corruption in the Sindh police force, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The NAB has issued a notice to the AIG Welfare. According to sources, the NAB’s inquiry has come as a surprise as the Bureau has also sought all the records from 2012 to 2016.

The disclosure was about embezzlement worth billions in Martyrs Funds, Welfare Funds and other buy and purchase matters.
