People, coming to the government offices for having their issues resolved, face a great deal of inconvenience as the officers at Punjab civil secretariat are habitual latecomers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

It has been learnt that the Punjab civil secretariat opens at 9am, but it gets functional after 10:30am since the secretaries and officers there are accustomed to late coming, and none of them show up for duty even at 10am.

People have requested the chief secretary to take notice of it as the officers are supposed to arrive at their offices on time for solving the public problems.
