Fugitive brought back from Saudi Arabia to Punjab

The Punjab police have brought another fugitive back from abroad with the help of Interpol, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
On the instructions of Punjab police chief Dr Usman Anwar, the lawmen have stepped up efforts to nail the fugitives.
A fugitive, Abdul Ghaffar wanted by the Bahawalnagar police, fled to Saudi Arabia after committed the crime.
With the help of Interpol, the Punjab police brought back the fugitive and handed him over to the Bahawalnagar police.
This year, the Punjab police have so far brought back 144 fugitives from foreign states, including America, Britain, Europe, Africa, Saudi Arabia and Gulf countries.
The top cop commended the police for tracing the criminals and bringing them back from abroad.
He stressed the efforts to bring to book the culprits should be stepped up.
