Former prime minister Imran Khan has said that former army chief General ® Qamar Javed Bajwa did everything on Donald Lu's request as far as the cipher saga is concerned, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
While talking informally to journalists in the courtroom at Adiala Jail on Monday, the former PTI chairman said that he would make General Bajwa and officials of the US Embassy as witnesses in the cipher case.
“Former army chief Bajwa did everything on Donald Lu's request. I will call General Bajwa to court,” Imran vowed.
In response to a question, Imran Khan said that no one held negotiations with him, ‘but I can write it down that PTI will win the elections’.
Khan said that the way he was arrested, it was all a plan, Nawaz Sharif came to Pakistan after the London plan. “I am not in any trouble in jail, I consider staying in jail as worship,” he added.
Reacting to Khawar Manika's allegations, Khan said that he saw Bushra Bibi’s face for the first time only on the day of their Nikah. He alleged that Bushra’s children are being coerced to give statements against their mother.
On the question about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders leaving the party, the former chairman of PTI said, "I am thankful that some political leaders have left the party."
He said he wants to send a message to the nation that their captain is ready to fight till his last breath.
The former PTI chairman lamented that the previous rulers had lowered the country’s growth rate to zero from 6.17%. He said it is feared that seeing the situation, they may run away from the election. People are not crazy, they know what they have done, Khan said.
