The Punjab government has shut down all the restaurants around the Gaddafi Cricket Stadium in Lahore a week before the start of the T20I series between Pakistan and South Africa, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The authorities sealed all the restaurants without any notice seven days before the first T20 International on February 11.
The owners and workers of these restaurants are up in arms against the government for closing down their restaurants.
The second and third T20I matches will be played on February 13 and 14.
