Expressing her solidarity with the people of Kashmir, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice President and the party’s chief organizer Maryam Nawaz on Sunday said that the Indian occupation of Kashmir was illegal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In her message on Kashmir Solidarity Day, she said despite Indian atrocities Kashmiris considered themselves to be part of Pakistan. “What else could better describe the defeat of India than the fact that despite all its efforts, India has failed to quell the freedom movement of the people of Kashmir,” Maryam commented.

She went on to say that the sacrifices given by men, women, youth and even children of the occupied territory were simply matchless.

She further said supporting Kashmiris till they won their right of self-determination is the part of a Muslim’s faith.

Separately, in a tweet, PML-N Senior Vice President said that she saluted the brave and valiant people of Kashmir.

Maryam said she saluted the struggle of Kashmiris, which had no parallel in history.

She said that it was India, which had gone to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) for the resolution of the dispute, but later backed out of its commitment to implement the UNSC’s resolutions.

She concludes by saying, “Kashmir bane ga Pakistan.”
