Pakistani top bowler and former cricket captain Shaheen Shah Afridi, who tied the nuptial knot with Shahid Afridi’s daughter Ansha Afridi on February 3 in a grandiose ceremony, expressed his disappointment with the guests invited at the Nikah function for sharing the pictures of his bride without their consent.
The pictures of his nikah went viral in no time. Even a picture of the bride with groom also went viral on social media after which Ansha started trending on twitter and other social networking.
Shaheen Afridi penned down a note expressing her gratitude over their union and also prayed for the everlasting happiness.
He did, however, voice his disgust with the guests who, in spite of repeated requests, continued to share their pictures from the private ceremony shamelessly and invaded their privacy.
This is what he wrote at his official Instagram account:
“It’s very disappointing that despite many repeated requests, our privacy was hurt and people kept on sharing it further without any guilt. I would like to humbly request everyone again to kindly coordinate with us and not try to spoil our memorable big day.”
He also thanked Allah for his blessing upon him in the shape of a beautiful partner. He wrote: “Alhumdulillah, Almighty has been very kind and generous. May we always remain as a garment to each other.” He thanked his fans too, “Thank you everyone for the well wishes and making our special day even better. Remember us in your special prayers.”
