Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar and Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the police station in Tehsil Daraban of Dera Ismail Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


Ten 10 policemen were martyred and six others got injured as a group of unidentified militants attacked Chaudhwan police station in Daraban tehsil in the wee hours of Monday.


The prime minister prayed to Allah Almighty for elevation of ranks of the martyred police personnel in paradise and also expressed his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved families.


PM Kakar paid tribute to the police personnel for bravely fighting the terrorists. He also directed the concerned authorities to provide all possible medical aid to those injured in the attack.


“Cowardly acts of terrorists will always fail to destroy our resolve to maintain law and order,” he said adding the entire nation stood with the police and security forces and salutes the martyrs.


Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi also strongly condemned the terrorist attack on police station and expressed heartfelt condolences over the martyrdom of police personnel in the attack.


Mohsin Naqvi expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of martyred personnel.


In his condolence massage, the Chief Minister said that all our sympathies are with the families of the martyred officers.


“I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured personnel”, Mohsin Naqvi said.


He said that terrorists are the burden of the earth and this evil must be eradicated by the power of unity.


Any conspiracy to spread chaos and instability in the country will not be allowed to succeed and the blood of the martyred personnel will not go in vain, said Mohsin Naqvi.
