Seven die as blaze destroys house in Pir Mahal

Seven people died and another three injured when a fire destroyed their house in Pir Mahal on Wednesday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Four children were among the dead as the cause of the fire in the house of Village 756 GB was yet to be determined.

The injured with severe burn injuries were rushed to a hospital for treatment.

Rescue team reached the spot and retrieved the burnt bodies from the house. They also discovered a gas cylinder inside the house but it was not yet clear whether was the cause of the fire.

Four injured in Daska houe fire

A fire also broke out in a house in Daska due to gas leakage injuring four people including two women.

Four fire tenders rushed to the spot and succeeded in extinguishing the fire in the house located at Main Bazaar in Jamkay Cheema area of Daska.

Rescue 1122 personnel said the blaze started after gas filled one of rooms in the house. They said the injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital Daska after preliminary treatment.

Later three of the injured were rushed to a hospital in Gujranwala due to their serious condition.
