Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has taken swift action to ensure the timely treatment of star batter Saim Ayub, sending him to London for a consultation with leading sports orthopaedics.
Naqvi personally contacted Saim Ayub to inquire about his well-being and conveyed his best wishes for a speedy recovery.
“Saim is an extraordinary batter and a valuable asset for Pakistan cricket. His injury is a matter of great concern,” the chairman remarked.
Arrangements have been made for Saim Ayub to visit top specialists in London, with his appointment already scheduled.
“We’ll spare no resources for Saim’s treatment and recovery,” assured Mohsin Naqvi, adding that Saim will be flown from Cape Town to London on the earliest available flight.
Assistant coach Azhar Mahmood will accompany Saim to ensure seamless coordination and support during the visit.
Mohsin Naqvi expressed optimism about Saim Ayub’s recovery. “We hope he regains full fitness before the Champions Trophy,” he stated.
