4 passengers die, 40 injured as two buses collide in Kot Addu

Four passengers have died while 40 others got injured as two passenger buses collided at Chowk Sarwar Shaheed in Kot Addu, district Muzaffargarh on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to rescue officials, one bus carrying 34 people to attend a marriage ceremony was coming from Kabirwala to Layyah while the second bus was going from Dera Ismail Khan to Multan.
All the injured and dead bodies were shifted to THQ Hospital in Kot Sarwar Shaheed.
Rescue teams claimed that the condition of 10 passengers was critical therefore they were referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan.
Deputy Commissioner Kot Addu Munawar Abbas told media that the sad accident took place due to wrong overtaking by a bus driver. He said that dead bodies were being shifted to Kabirwala.
