Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that Thar coal will change the fate of Pakistan as 660 megawatts of electricity is being supplied to the national grid from Thar coal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


Unveiling his ‘Sindh Vision’ while addressing a ceremony in Karachi on Thursday, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said some people repeatedly say what has the Sindh government done? “I laid a network of excellent and high-quality roads, established the Thar Foundation for the people, floods wreaked havoc across Sindh twice during our time.”


He said the Sindh government brought the best housing program, 172 families are living in the resettlement village with all facilities and solar system and 100 units of free electricity are being given.


The Chief Minister said that Rs4 billion have been given for the Safe City project and a kidnapper has been caught with the help of cameras. He said if someone is driving on a fake number plate will be caught and car will be seized because 18 points have been made in Karachi.


The CM further said that due to excellent work in the health sector, child deaths have reduced, every child in Sindh is getting world-class emergency facilities 24 hours a day for free.


He said covid has pushed us back a long way.


The CM said they will try to complete the Hub Canal in one year, the first phase of the Malir Express will be completed till August 14, while the project will be completed next year.
