Bad weather deters 11-year old’s bid to climb Khusor Gang peak

An 11-year teen mountaineer showed wonderful expertise in an adventure at a 6040-meter high mountain Khusor Gang in Shigar district of Baltistan.
The young boy was near the summit when bad weather deterred him to go further. Belong to the Cantt area of Lahore, Alizar started his adventure on May 29 with the help of his father Chaudhary Asheer and local mountaineers Asghar Ali and Qalabi Ali at Khusor Gang Mountain and reached at 5000 altitudes in three days. He, however, could not fulfill his dream to hoist the flag on the top of the mountain due to bad weather. The team spent one night waiting for suitable weather to go further but then returned back to basecamp.
The teen mountaineer pledged to summit the mountain next year. He said he wanted to hoist Pakistan’s flag on all the top mountains of the world if could get the opportunity. He said he wanted to be a mountaineer like Ali Sadpara.
