Court issues notice to NHA chairman over dilapidated Deharki-to-Ghotki road

A court has issued notice to Chairman National Highway Authority (NHA) Islamabad for dilapidated condition of national highway from Deharki to Ghotki on the application of a citizen, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The court also issued notice to General Manager Sukkur, Deputy Director, Legal Officer and other relevant officers
The court of Second Judicial Magistrate Mirpurmathelu has issued an order to the officers to appear physically.
According to text of the application repair work of the road is going on for the last one year but national highway work could not be done due to slowness.
Accidents on the highway have become a daily routine and dozens of precious human lives were lost due to broken highway, the text of application said.
